Thomas Kelly passed away peacefully at home, April 9th, 2018 in Spring, Texas. He was born December 1st, 1923 in Limon, Costa Rica to James Samuel Kelly Fischer and Consuelo Rojas Castro Del Kelly.
Thomas was a devoted father and husband, brilliant engineer and renaissance man. He will be fondly remembered for his warm smile, sense of humor and captivating stories. In his younger years, he traveled the world, helping to build the Panama Pipeline, worked in the jungles of Venezuela and in New York as a professional surveyor, in forestry in Colombia, photogrammetry in Pennsylvania and built schools, highways and roads in Texas. He was the definition of hard work and the embodiment of bravery. He lived a life that was full, loved one woman until the day he died and left a legacy that spans 4 generations.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Nelly Kelly.
He is survived by his daughters: Damaris Lo Cicero, Lilliana Goncalves, Consuelo Kelly, Estrellita Berry; his sons Gerard and George Kelly; his many grandchildren; Cindy Bendkowski, Desirae Cameron, Thomas and Michael Torres, James, Ashley, Andrea, Nathan and Jonathan Kelly, Ginger Miller, John Goncalves Jr, Cindy Miller, Susan Goncalvez, David Goncalves, Harold Lee Rucker, Erika, Veronica and Zach Berry,as well as his 17 loving great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
