Gayle Ann Parker, 70, of Cypress, TX, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, surrounded by her family. Originally from Denton, TX, Ann graduated from Spring Branch High School and studied physical education at Stephen F. Austin University before going into accounting. She had a smile that could light up a room and a laugh that could warm your heart. She loved all things Santa Claus, trips to the casino, and absolutely adored her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandson.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, James V. and Mary Alyce Touchstone. She is survived by her husband: Phillip L. Parker; her sister and brother-in-law: Charlie and Jamey Ullrich; three daughters: Sherrie Maxey, Gina Lester and Penny Parker; a niece and nephew: Paige Chisom and Jordan Ullrich; three grandchildren: Aaron Allison, Leigh Ann Parker and Heather Vendsel; one great-grandson: Logan Diaz; and many wonderful friends.
A "Celebration of Life" will be held at 10 a.m. on April 14, 2018, at Addison Funeral Home (18630 Kuykendahl Road, Spring, TX 77379). In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Ann's name (https://shop.stjude.org/).
