Robyn E Talley
July 25, 1961 - February 6, 2018

Robyn E. Talley was welcomed into the arms of our Lord on February 6, 2018 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, July 25, 1961 and lived there until his graduation from Belaire High School in 1979.

After graduation, he moved to Orlando , Florida where he loved all outdoor sports including boating, scalloping, fishing and camping. He retired after 21 years of service with AT&T as a software engineer and was fortunate to work from home during many years of his service. He leaves behind a host of friends from his 30 years in Orlando.

Rob moved to The Woodlands in 2013 to be near family and was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2015. Throughout his treatment and subsequent hospitalizations, he maintained a fierce commitment, determination and sense of humor with all who treated him and for his prognosis.

He is preceded in death by his father, Enoch Talley, mother Edith Talley and brother-in-law, John Goodwin. He is survived by his sister, Jennifer Goodwin, brother, James Talley, nieces Claire Goodwin, Hillary Haynes, spouse Charles Frank Haynes, Abigail Talley and nephews Paul Goodwin, Noah Talley and Judah Talley. Extended family in New Orleans, Rio, and Baton Rouge/Clinton areas. He leaves behind his two most beloved cats Widget & Grey Bear.

The family wishes to thank Vitas Hospice team 504, Tracy, Jude, Brenda, Sherry, Susan, Robinette, Carolyn and staff; as well as, TIRR, Dr. Wu of the Sprintz Center and staff & Dr. Erik Kleinbaum. Special thanks to his daily caretakers who became our family and extended his comfort and quality of life through the end; Latoya Jacobs and Tannisia Henry.

Private memorial for family will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Robyn's name to the American Cancer Society PO Box 22478 Oklahoma City, OK 73123 or The Houston Humane Society 14700 ALMEDA RD., HOUSTON, TX 77053.
