Remembering...

Sandra Nowak
died January 15, 2018

Sandra Nowak, a life-long resident of Houston, TX, died Monday night, the 15th of January.

Sandra was born in 1942 in Houston, TX. Growing up, she attended catholic schools and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Incarnate Word Academy.

Sandra enjoyed good food, mystery novels, shopping, and had a smile that could light up a room. Sandra was a generous and thoughtful friend, a caring and loyal sister, a doting and energetic "Meme," a loving and attentive mother, and a devoted and cherished wife...basically a rock star!

Sandra loved taking great care of her husband, children and grandchildren but above all, Sandra loved The Lord, and found great joy in prayer and doing for others. She was a 44 year member of St. Edward's Catholic Community, supported the church's many fundraising efforts, and had a special devotion to Divine Mercy.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel P. Lobue and Zannie L. "Sug" (Buckley) Lobue; son, Joseph M. Nowak; and brother, Sammy Lobue.

She is survived by her loving husband, Richard E. Nowak, Sr.; children, Richard E. Nowak, Jr. and wife Jennifer, Cindy A. Lee, Sherri N. Langford and husband Brad, Carolyn M. Wolfe and husband Derek, Stephanie A. Martin and husband Mike, and John A. Nowak and wife Dana; grandchildren, Tyler Nowak, Riley Nowak, Luke Nowak, Ashlyn Lee, Kaitlyn Lee, Nicholas Lee, Lauren Wolfe, Jonathan Wolfe, Samuel "Pedro" Martin, Addie Nowak, Emma Nowak, Zoie Nowak, Johnny Nowak, and Mary Nowak; siblings, Carol A. Willenborg and husband Ron, Joan M. Alexander and husband Mike, Don A. Lobue, Randy S. Lobue and wife Kathy, Chris Lobue and wife Sue, John A. Lobue, and Richard "Rick" K. Lobue; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Special Instructions/Comments: The Addison family and staff at Addison Funeral Home extend their condolences to Sandra's family and friends.
