William Edward Chandler, 72, of Houston, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 7, 2017. Born February 15, 1945 in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Treffie and Nellie Chandler, Bill graduated from Southwest High School and studied business at the University of St. Louis. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Judith and their children, son William Edward Chandler II "Beau", grandchildren Austin and Kyle, daughter Christy "Sissy" and her husband Steven Adams, and their 3 children, Taylor, Sydney and Cameron, daughter Kelly "Ernie" and her husband Jeff Allen, and their 3 children, Audrey, Ryan and Tyler Kay, daughter Christine "Squeak" and her husband David Brueneman, and their children Jake and Jenna, and daughter Carrie "Doodle" and her husband Nate Graham.
Bill was a member of his beloved church and community and was active in Emmaus. He had a passion for travel and photography, adored dogs, he was quite the history buff, and loved a good debate... he was always right, even when he was wrong, he was right. Bill was truly a one-in-a-million, kind-hearted and fun-loving man. Always a jokester who brought a smile to everyone's face, and is most assuredly already bringing laughter to those beyond the pearly gates.
A memorial service will be held at The Woodlands United Methodist Church-Robb Chapel at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2017 and a reception immediately following at Jones Library. In lieu of flowers, if preferred donations can be made to the Emmaus Community or The Woodlands United Methodist Church.
Special Instructions/Comments: The Addison family and staff wish to extend their heartfelt condolences to William's family and friends at their time of loss.
