Mary D. Conyers
October 7, 1932 - November 18, 2017



Mary D. Conyers was born October 7, 1932 in Leadville, CO. She passed away on November 18, 2017. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and teacher. Mary received her Bachelors and Master's degrees from Western State College in Colorado. She started her love for teaching in California and it continued in each state that she lived in. She taught children as young as 2nd graders to college students. Mary was known for teaching business classes for over 20 years for Lone Star College (aka, North Harris Community College District). She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Steven Scufka, her in-laws, Ola and Chester Conyers; husband of 59 years , William P. Conyers and her brother-in-law, Frank Carricato. She is survived by her two sons William P. Conyers, Jr., and John Martin Conyers, her daughter-in-laws, Tina Conyers and Donna Conyers; her grandson, Patrick W. Conyers; her sisters Vera Mae Carricato and Shirley Hickman along with her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.


Special Instructions/Comments: The thoughts and prayers of the Addison family and staff are with the family in this time of loss.
