Sarah Emma Carlson (Tansill), 36, died unexpectedly on October 2, 2017, at the Tomball Regional Hospital from a heart attack. She was born September 3, 1981 in Houston, the daughter of Leslie Edward and Mary Elizabeth Tansill and was the youngest of three children.
Sarah went to high school at Klein Oak in Spring, Texas and was an excellent swimmer and soccer player. Following high school, Sarah met James Carlson and after dating several years, were married January 31, 2005 and remained in Texas for most of their married lives. Sarah was a loving and devoted mother to their three beautiful daughters. She loved being with her girls, singing and coaching their soccer teams as a duo with James, and playing darts. Sarah was beloved by all, and her warming smile, feisty yet loving spirit will be missed by all the lives she touched.
Sarah is survived by her husband, James Carlson; daughters, Madison, Kelsy and Lainey Carlson; brothers, Terry Tansill and wife Chelsea and Joshua Tansill; sisters, Kelly Stepaniak (Tansill) and husband Joe and Jamie Tansill-Zloba; mother, Mary Tansill; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Leslie Tansill.
