Wynn Nelle Wright stepped into glory on August 7, 2017 at the age of 91 after a prolonged period on hospice. Visitation will be held on August 13, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Addison Funeral Home, 18630 Kuykendahl Road, Spring, Texas.
She is survived by two sons, John M. Wright of Pflugerville, Texas and Christopher Wright of Spring, Texas. Daughter in-law Shawn Wright: three grandchildren; Amanda and her husband Jeremy Brown, Amber Wright and Dustin Koonce. One great granddaughter Monica Jill Brown and brother, Bill Cope of Granbury, Texas. Her sister in-law, Marian O?Hara of San Angelo, one nephew and one niece.
Wyn Nelle was born in Ada, Oklahoma to William Martin and Jennie Mae (Brundette) Cope. Her family moved to Monahans, Texas. She began her adventurous life by attending college in Illinois where she graduated from Aurora College with a B.A. of Education. Wyn Nelle returned to west Texas and married James H. Wright of Abilene. They had their first son in 1952 before moving to Pittsburgh, PA where they had two more sons. Wyn Nelle taught piano, played the pedal organ and was active in PEO, PTA and church activities while raising her three boys in Pittsburgh. After having adventured the world for 40 years, James and Wyn Nelle returned to Texas where they finished full of years and were enriched by relationships that came from living the abundant life in Christ.
