Clydene “Dene” Williams Edge, 68, passed away on July 23, 2010 in Houston. She was born on July 22, 1942, in Dallas, TX. Dene was always on the move. She enjoyed going to garage sales, antique shops and auctions. She was active in her church for many years helping with Sunday School and the youth. She liked to tend to her garden, hunt, fish, dance and sing. In her earlier years she even did some modeling. She had an infectious laugh that was easily recognized. More than anything, Dene loved to spend time with her family. She and her husband also enjoyed going to the Liberty Opry. Dene was very competitive when playing games with her family. On one occasion she even broke a bone roller skate racing the grandchildren. Dene was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Albina Williams. She is survived by her loving husband, Orbey Edge; children, Paege Chafin, Michele and Kevin Etchison, Jason and Joanna Chafin, Donna and John Williams, and Joy Chafin; brother, Richard Mack Williams; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and numerous more relatives and friends.
