Joe and I worked side by side in 1977 in the Columbus, Ohio Gulf Oil Marketing District Office. Joe was from Maine and was naturally a huge Boston Red Sox fan and I was from Texas but also a Red Sox fan. We shared many heartbreaking stories of Red Sox losses. Joe was a brilliant co-worker and a great friend. I had lost track of Joe after we were both transferred;Joe to Houston and I to Port Arthur, Texas in 1980. Mary our prayers are with your family. Ron

I worked with Joe for almost 15 years and had some wonderful times. He was as good a friend as you could ever have. Joe always gave and never expected anything in return. I miss you Joe.
